There’S A 99 Percent Chance I Don’T Care

Cuppy

Cuppy the mouse lived in a cozy little house at the edge of the forest. Despite his small size, Cuppy had a big personality. One day, while exploring the forest, Cuppy stumbled upon a charming blue cup. It was just his size, and he immediately decided it would make the perfect new home.

Cuppy spent his days peeking out from his cup, observing the world around him with his curious, wide eyes. He watched the birds chirping in the trees, the squirrels gathering nuts, and the occasional human passing by on the nearby path. Cuppy enjoyed his peaceful life in the cup, but he often felt a little disconnected from the hustle and bustle around him.

One sunny morning, a group of forest animals gathered near Cuppy’s cup for a meeting. They were planning a grand picnic and were discussing the details excitedly. Cuppy listened intently but didn’t feel compelled to join in. He was quite content in his cup, and as much as he liked the idea of a picnic, he didn’t want to leave his cozy spot.

As the picnic planning continued, a small bird named Tweety flew over to Cuppy. “Hey, Cuppy! Why don’t you join us for the picnic? It’s going to be so much fun!” Tweety chirped enthusiastically.

Cuppy smiled and replied, “There’s a 99% chance I don’t care, Tweety. I like my cup just fine.”

Tweety tilted her head, puzzled. “But you’re always in that cup, Cuppy. Don’t you ever want to explore and have adventures with us?”

Cuppy thought for a moment. He did enjoy his solitude, but maybe a little adventure wouldn’t be so bad. “You know what, Tweety? I’ll give it a try, but only for a little while.”

Tweety beamed with joy and flew back to the group, announcing that Cuppy would join them. The other animals cheered, happy to have Cuppy’s company.

The picnic was a delightful affair. There were delicious berries, crunchy nuts, and sweet nectar. Cuppy found himself enjoying the food and the company more than he had expected. He even shared a few stories of his own, much to the delight of his friends.

As the sun began to set, Cuppy returned to his cup, feeling a sense of contentment. He realized that while he loved his cozy cup, it was also nice to step out and join in the fun every now and then.

From that day on, Cuppy became a regular participant in the forest gatherings. He still cherished his time in the cup but learned the value of balancing solitude with companionship. The animals loved having Cuppy around, and Cuppy discovered that sometimes, stepping out of his comfort zone led to the most enjoyable experiences.

And so, Cuppy the mouse continued to live happily in his cup, with a newfound appreciation for the world outside and the friends who made life so much more vibrant.
